Everyone has been wanting to know what RESTORING MY SANCTUARY is about. I will try and explain the best I can. My mother is in a wheel chair, she has been for about 12 years. The place where my mom and dad retired to has a front porch that is about 6 inches short of the door. So she always has to rely on someone to get her outside. Because she may fall. The agency that were suppose to fix this for the last 10 plus years switched management just before the porch was to be completed and the process started over again. She always would say she just wanted to be able to go out on the porch read her word and talk to God. Her personal Sanctuary away from the loud TV and all distractions. Just her and GOD. And so the vision was birthed and the inspiration came from my mother. That there are alot more people who are having hard times right now. That have no personal place no personal sanctuary. Because of trails and hard times they have not been able to keep there Sanctuary in order. Someone may need a porch, someone may need a ramp. There may be people that need a prayer room. Someone may need money raised to help pay a doctors bill , or to have surgery. The projects are endless and there is no limits to what RMS can cover.
God gives some people the talents to preach, teach and even cook. I dont know how to explain but he has given me a talent in fundraising, procurment and so on. I should have seen it coming but i was focused on other things.
God told me that it was time to use my knowledge and favor to help alot of people. And I am very excited about this ministry and the direction that it has taken. Before it was ever written down.
PS. You may be glad to know that I was in the process of getting the items donated and volunters together to fix my mothers porch. On Mothers Day this year 2009 12 years later. The agency fixed her porch. And I was almost disappointed. Then God gave me several other names to work on. Thats the story. Please keep us in your prayers and if God leads you to . Join our Group. You never know when we may have to come to your neck of the woods.
