I AM GRATEFUL FOR THIS WEBSITE AND THIS GROUP..I STRUGGLE WITH FEELING THE HOLY SPIRIT MOVING ME TO ACT IMMEDIATELY THEN SECOND GUESSING MY ACTIONS...I BELIEVE I AM BEING SPOKEN TO YET HAVE ONE PARTICULAR PERSON WHO TELLS ME I AM "CRAZY" OR A FALSE PROPHET...TONIGHT I REMOVED THAT PERSON COMPLETELY FROM MY LIFE BECAUSE I FELT GOD TOLD ME TO...I PRAY WITH ALL MY SOUL IT WAS GOD WHO COMMANDED IT AND NOT JUST ME IN THE FLESH WANTING TO BE RID OF THE DRAMA THIS PERSON BRINGS TO MY LIFE....I AM TRULY IN FAITH THAT AS I FAST TODAY I WILL SEE THE TRUTH THROUGH GOD'S WORD....I AM GIVING OUR FATHER PRAISE FOR SAVING ME AND MY LIFE...I DESIRE ONLY TO SERVE HIM ALL MY DAYS....

I FEEL SO BLESSED TO BE A PART OF THIS GROUP. THIS IS EXACTLY HOW I FEEL....ON FIRE FOR GOD. I LOVE MY HEAVENLY FATHER SO MUCH.....HE IS EVERYTHING TO ME, WITHOUT HIM I WOULD BE NOTHING. I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING THE OTHER LADIES. MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU. THE FATHER HAS POURED OUT HIS BLESSINGS UPON ME AND CONTINUES TO BLESS ME. MY CUP CONTINUES TO RUN OVER.

Hello, Jeani. I would encourage you to read Acts 2:1-4. Speaking in tongues is the evidence of being filled with the Holy Ghost. It's like when you receive a receipt for a purchase you've made, that is your evidence that you paid and received your merchandise. The Holy Ghost is the indwelling of the spirit of God and when you speak in tongues it is the evidence that you received the infilling of the Holy Ghost. The purpose of tongues is communication between you and God that the devil cannot understand. Romans 8:26-27 says the Spirit helps our infirmities and that we don't know what we should pray for. It also says the Spirit makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered.

You should also know that the Holy Ghost empowers you to live your daily life. The Holy Ghost also helps us with spiritual warfare. I would encourage you to read all of Acts to learn more about the Holy Ghost. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

I am thinking about the Holy Spirit. Many friends of mine tell me unless I speak in tongues I am not filled with the Holy Spirit. I have been knocked to the floor by the presence of the Spirit and I have felt a gush of wind across my face in church. I have never spoken in tongues. Praise and Glory to our Lord Jesus Christ!
