I don't know if you know this but the number 40 has great Biblical significance, meaning the full of something. It rained 40 days and nights..Jesus fasted 40 days... Sinse you fasted a full 40 days you have done something the same as Jesus himself did. Awesome, because it takes a lot of stength and determination and faith.
