The primary, over-arching message that the Lord has planted deep into my heart is to help prepare the Church for these end times that we are living in. Whether in the Spirit or in the natural, I think we can all agree that there are a number of changes that could be made in order to be better prepared for what is coming our way. If I can convey that to my brothers and sisters, then I will be content having carried out my life's mission. God Bless... Mike McGrath
I have had a lot of people ask me this very question. Recognizing that most of us won't be sitting in our living rooms, inside a fully loaded and stocked house when things go from bad to crisis...
Think mobile... Mobile meaning in the car or on foot (other possibilities are on a bike, motorcycle, boat, etc...) with the intention of getting back home, or to someone Else's home or location that you think will provide you with all the comforts of home while you ride out the storm.
Here is what I do: in the Suburban - yes I own a big, gas-hogging, 4x4 Suburban - sorry green people... ;)
I keep plenty of food and water in the Suburban at all times; rotating as often as I can to keep fresh stock. Its a habit people, develop these habits and they may save your lives. If necessary, I figure I can go about 2 weeks with what I have in the Suburban. The items are high calorie, special grade items that I know will carry me. I also have blankets, tools, weapons, lighting, A/C converter, medical items, of course my backpack in case I have to go totally mobile, on foot - hiking boots, extra socks and underwear, rain gear, fire starting and cooking gear, camping gear, some fun games for kids, communication equipment. I've modified the Suburban a bit with dual batteries, high amp alternator and solar panel or two with an on board air compressor wired into the ole burban; a few spare parts to keep her running and some other modifications that will allow me to pass through very deep water or snow...
