Calvary Community Trust Our Vision and Statement of Faith

Our ministry was started in the year of 1990 and our hearts were heavy with the burden to educate and train the people who were being ignored by society, especially in the areas of India where the tribal people live.
Yes, as we discovered, there are many places in India where the children never go to school and the parents never dress them properly and they were never able to eat good food like we do. So, we decided to approach them and do the best we could do for the development of their people.

First, we gave these children a basic education by paying for a tutor to give them special individual training every week end. We also reached out to the seniors in the villages and the sick and we fed them with quality food!

Now, the children are getting a quality education with the special help of the tutor and can now have a positive outlook for their future like the other children.

President’s desk:

I started a home for orphans, after selling one of my homes. This was a huge step of faith but slowly children came in to the home and now it is reaching about 100 children! It is really a task which no one can do with out a good financial support. We have faith in the Lord to supply for all of the 100 children and we pray that you will open your hearts to help too as the Lord leads you! We are thankful for the ones that have helped and are helping already. We are also thankful for others who will come alongside and help us doing much more for these children! We are very close to providing the food, shelter and education to more than 1000 children in our entire ministry. We want to not only provide for them but give them the best we can.

Rural development:

In many of the villages that we go into, we give free tailoring classes for the women and the children. We provide the supplies and teaching materials also. We offer the men, industrial training in areas such as being a mechanic, in welding and in computer training. We do this so that we can uplift the standard of these downtrodden and hopeless people and give them the opportunity to have a happier and productive life!




Children’s Home:

We have discovered that many of the orphan’s were not getting a very good education since there is no one to provide and oversee their education. We realized also that the children who came from the north eastern tribal areas were becoming victims of their antisocial environment. The drug dealers promised to give them food and money if they would allow the drug dealers to train them to traffic drugs and other illegal activities.

This information grieved us so much and God touched our hearts to devote our service to these children and deliver them from the hands of the drug lords!

At present, we are helping 50 of these children and we put them in a good English school and we are paying a lot for their education. The task seems great, but God’s love will not allow us to give up on these children who desperately need our help!

Home for the Golden Age Seniors:

We have started a Golden Age Home in the north eastern state of India, in the city of Nagaland, where the seniors that are uncared for are suffering too much. They were so helpless and hopeless that they just wanted to die, since there was no one to help them. This just broke our hearts!
We located this home and now 20 seniors are in the Seniors’Home and we are busy constructing another Senior’s Home in South India, at Kerala State.
This ministry is also very expensive since we have to provide a nurse and provide their food, as well as their medicines. You can see that we really need some wonderful sponsors who will faithfully help us to take care of them and give them the quality of care that they so deserve! We thank you in advance for your faithful one time gifts and also monthly and yearly gifts!

You can maybe imagine how difficult it must be for a couple to give birth to a child that is mentally retarded. Their happiness and joy is robbed as they begin to deal with the challenges of properly raising and taking care of these special needs children. The parents hopes and dreams for their child are crushed and every moment is spent tending to their child. A lot of times the family begins to isolate themselves from everyone and resort to a life of disappointment and sorrow and helplessness in a world of their own.

We were moved with the compassion of the Lord for these families and children. We not only want to share their sorrow but also to give them a happy life again by taking the child into a home and relieve them from their helplessness and isolation.

We give these children a special education by an experienced special teacher and provide special treatment and therapy by doctors and therapists.
We have a home for these special children at Kerala.

It is at great expense that we have been and are providing for these precious children! That is why we need wonderful people like you to join with us today and give your support financially to help us continue all that we are doing in reaching out to the hurting and helpless precious ones! We are always trusting that the Lord will do great and wonderful miracles for these precious little ones of His!

Widows:

We discovered many widows who were being treated very bad because in the Indian villages, they have a very horrible tradition of isolating these widows from their families and society itself giving them no hope for a future!

Since we discovered this , we are constructing a village for these forgotten women. We have a home and training center located in Comibatore, South India. We have created programs for the widows to teach them about computers, and tailoring. We train the widows and give them hope and knowledge and even get them good placements in the hospitals, schools and garment making companies.

So, as you can see, we are actively fighting against the unjust treatment that they were receiving and paving the way for them to have a bright future!

Youth development:

We have discovered youth that were absolutely not being guided properly for various reasons. If we had not intervened in their lives they would surely have ruined lives and their future destroyed.

We understand where they are coming from and have opened our hearts to help them and lift them up out of their situation. We have established a special project for the youth! We have opened our home in Coimbatore, South India and are giving them confidence for their life in an environment of God’s love and training.We are equipping them according to their learning levels and leading them into the field that they are most interested in pursuing!

We help them in all aspects of life and provide them a good future. Many of the youths have now had their lives transformed by our love and training and are now leading happy and successful lives!.

We give thanks to God for helping us to help them and to see their lives changed. We are greatly encouraged and strengthened with your financial support to continue helping see more lives changed by His love!

Statement of Faith

• We believe the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, to be the verbally inspired, inerrant, and only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
• We believe that there is one triune God, as revealed in the Bible, eternally existent in the persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one in essence, but distinct in person and function.
• We believe God the Father, is the first person of the Trinity. As infinite Spirit, He is the source, support, and end of all things. He is the designer of creation, speaker of revelation, the author of redemption, and the sovereign of history.
• We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity. By His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, and His bodily resurrection, He became the physical manifestation of the Godhead and Savior to mankind.
• We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is the agent of conviction, regeneration, indwelling, baptism, sanctification, and illumination of all who are born into God's family through Jesus Christ.
• We believe that salvation is the free gift of God received only by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work.
• We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those that are saved will be raised to eternal life, and those who are lost will be raised to eternal damnation.
• We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
• We believe that God has ordained the local church for the perpetuation of His truth and work in the world.
• We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ for all believers. The rapture of the saints will be followed by the seven year period called the Tribulation, then the thousand year earthly reign of Christ, and ending with the eternal reign of Christ in the new heaven and new earth.
