What to look for in spiritual abusers:
What is spirtual abuse you ask?
- It is any abuse and misuse of knowledge. That oppresses humanity and causes unjustness. For self power and gain.
( It actually can be found not only in churches. But in courts, lawfirms, psychiatric field, the military, schools; Religous and public colleges, highschools, even elemetary. Sororities, the police force, ect.
THIS DOES NOT CONSIST OF THINGS FOR TRAINING IN HARDSHIPS CONCERNING DISCLIPLINE WHAT IS CALLED FOR. SUCH AS IN THE MILITARY AND POLICE FORCES. BUT THERE ARE STILL MUCH ABUSE THAT CAN CAUSE UNESSESARY DAMAGE TO ONES MENTALITY. IF NOT TRAINED CORRECTLY.
Spiritual abuse comes from individuals from the self thats all about self power. And little discernment of others. This spirtual abuse spreads spiritual disease.
They will put on a superficial front; superficial kindness.
They will manipulate you and flip things backwards/ repeating what you say, claim it for themselves. and speak against you like you don't know. And try to teach it to you. and even sometimes convince and tell other people you believe in what you actually spoke against.
They will insult your spiritual status unjustly and without a cause to protect themselves.
Their position is very important to them. And will hide the knowledge you have from others.
They will isolate you and exclude you.
They are worried about their position and self acknowledgement rather than others receiving the Word.
They will preach things like "Do not judge" while they judge.
No gossiping. So you will not assemble together to question their authority.
These people do not respect God.
They will falsely misguide you and isolate scripture and know nothing of true knowledge that there true prophets taught.
If you question their misuse of scriputre or abuse of it. They will claim the bible is open to interpretation, justifying themselves to use it how they see fit.
They will try to sound charming, but their words are empty.
They give false visions and always talking about their dreams they had from the night before as though it was a message from God, but has no real knowledge/ inisght
They will slander you to make you look like something you are not.
They will accuse you of attacking their ministry if you prove them wrong, while they attack what is true.
They will promote spiritual abuse programs as a decoy to hide their spiritual abuse.
They will also deny the teachings of spiriutal abuse and call it false teachings or won't have it exposed to the people so they won't be recognized.
For their protection they will make you look like the spiritual abuser.
They will try to control what you say and convince you, you might confuse people because you might contradict them.
They "think" everything they believe is the truth. And anything that goes against that or proves it wrong is of the devil..
Though they are proved wrong. They will continue to speak against truth.
If you have a knowledge they never heard of they will try to claim your bringing some other doctrine that leads away from Christ. Even if they are proven wrong..Or even shown it in kindness's.
The established churches are the only one with the ministry. You have to be a member of an established church to be in the foundaton of the Word; they think thier establishments are the only body of Christ of who they have accpeted.
If you question what they teach they will say things like ..Your trying to start an argument. And that only demons will argue with Christians.
They will say and quote things in the bible that aren't there; Claiming it is. That is completely against the prophets.
THEY MAKE UP FALSE RULES FOR DISCERNING YOU THAT DON'T EVEN EXISTS.
THEY MAKE UP FALSE RULES FOR THE BIBLE THATS NOT EVEN IN THE BIBLE. SAYING ONLY TRUTH IS FOUND IN THE BIBLE.
They think testing the spirits is manipulating you, mentally abusing people, and giving them a persecuted trial.
They will convince you have to blame yourself. When they are causing the problem. ( this goes to both sides.)
They will create a superficial Jesus that never got upset, angry, accused, spoke against or disagreed with anyone.
They will tell you that accuser means Satan or of the devil. (Yes, people Jesus DID accuse people of what they did!)
When you confront them with thier wrong.
Their teachings will continuously speak against Jesus and the prophets.
They will tell you its because you have to be broken.
(meaning they want to bring you under "THEIR " submission.)
They will accuse you of causing division if you go to another member of their church for help. They will contact other churches you go to to seek help and distract them so that you will not be listened to.
They will only side with their friends claming they are in unity of the Christ, instead of confronting and seeing truth to resolve the issue.
They look to be approved among established members. Instead of admitting fault. (they will use this same tactic even though you go to people for help.)
They are unempathetic to your feelings. And convince you that your feelings are misleading you and wrong. Telling you usually , " well, that what you feel happened."
They will convince you that their persecutions to you is Gods punishment. For speaking against the church.
They are mimickers. ( The dead living off your life till they drain you. And then will look for another. ) - I actually call them spiritual vampires -
They don't think they are equal to you. So instead of exchanging knowledge and insight. They will steal it and degrade you. (No, you are not to be equal to them.)
They make indirect threats. That won't appear they made a threat to you.
If you question them in front of someone else or go to another. Their excuse is that you perceived it wrong. (though we can perceive things wrong)
They use your own weaknesses against you. This is part of the mimicking play.To make it appear that's what you do. While they make it appear you are doing it.
When they speak against you. They will play mind manipulation and play on suggestive thought. So you answer the same way. Even though there is a difference of underlying principle.
They will twist your words or meaning of use of words.
They believe this practice is of the power of the kingdom of God.
They will use nieve people, ( people who are vulnerable) and people they know will lie for them as a protector for their support and defence.
Their responses is usually the same reflection of what tactics you use accept their light will reflect a false light to yours.
Most of their techniques are a scapegoating tequenique which will eventually have you excommunicated.
Which means you will be condemned for thier sins.
They will make up false doctrines and rules for spiritual abuse. (This will keep people who have discerning eyes and knowledge. From exposing them.)
If you react in anger or confusion under these opressions they cause. They use it to make them look justified.
They will preach messages to convince people your sufferings is because you are not right with God.
They will use you as an example to convince people you are punished by God for speaking against the church.
These false rules will consist of :
- Deep thinkers are spiritual abusers.
- Spiritual abusers have knowledge in many
areas and/or other religions.
- Spiritually abusive churches won't have
programs, such as A.A., N.A., ect.
- Spiritual abuser will rebuke you. (mind you,even
though rebuking is acceptable people do abuse it.)
- Spiritual abusers are the ones without a
liscence with no degree.
- Spiritual abusers are the ones persecuted
from city to city.
- Spiritual abusers will claim those people are the
dead.
- Spiritual abusers will drive nice cars and
have a lot of money
.- spiritual abusers will have
you put away chairs and and clean up after service.
(even though people use people for these task,
this is not a criterior to identify a spiritual abuser.)
- a spiritual abuser wil tell you, you shouldn't chew
gum.
- A spirtual abuser will say negative things that aren't
always postive.

Unfortunately some people are unaware they are carrying some of these things in the list that they have received and accepted some of these teachings from others. It does not necessarily make one a spiritual abuser. The main key is to recognize a willful spriritual abuser is lying and manipulation, and using tactics to cover it up.
This is just to give an example just because someone obtains an article against spiritual abuse. Does not mean you have not come across a stealth article that is actually promoting spiritual abuse or that it was created to attack people exposing spiritual abuse. To actually control their own beliefs. This relates to more depth of spiritual abuse.
The thing is ..you must choose and be discerning in all teachings...
